Why I like this time of year

The sky is that perfect shade of blue and everything is still green without the tired is-it-Fall-yet look.

Tiger lilies (my favorite flower) are growing everywhere even in random places.

Wild heather is turning fields purple along with some yellow flower I have no clue what it is.
The smell of honeysuckles is heavy in the air.

The lake is beautiful and I can hear people out on boats laughing. At night I can hear music from boats, too. I hope it is clear on the 4th of July this year. I want to record the boats coming for the fireworks. It's a sight.

And as I was out walking to take these I could hear a Mourning Dove cooing.  Such a beautiful day. I hope it stays clear. I want to see the full moon tonight.
