Autumn Leaves Like Life

 

Beautiful Autumn colors. You know, life is like these leaves. Beautiful and colorful. Then the wind comes and disturbs it, some leaves that becomes weak falling, but look. The tree still stands, the leaves are still beautiful, and His Light still shines through and illuminates those beautiful colors of your life.

The Christmas Party

           

 I want to tell you all about a dream I had this morning. I was standing among a great crowd of people in an all white ballroom. One side was all windows and a bright light was streaming through them. Between each window was an all white Christmas tree with blood red bulbs on them and white fairy lights. On the other wall was a vast fireplace roaring with a fire that gave off no heat. On either end of the ball room were doors, the one leading inside rather small and plainish. The one leading outside tall and beautiful. 
Looking around I (yes, I was in the dream) could see that everyone in that great room wore party clothes, the men in nice clothes and the women in gowns and they were all white. Brilliant white. 
Also in that room was a long table set for a feast. Did I happen to mention the ballroom was huge and still cozy. Behind the door leading into the rest of the "house" we could hear a large amount of people laughing, talking, screaming, etc, but it was muffled to us. Every once and a while that door would open and newcomers dressed in all white would enter and we would greet them. But all our attention was centered on the other door. The one leading outside. Because that was the door our host would be coming through. 
We were all excited because over the noise coming from the "house" we could hear something else. The sound of hooves approaching. 
Our Host was coming. 
I remember thinking I"I wonder what His crown looks like." 
Then I woke up. 
Prophetic dream 
Wishful thinking dream? 
Just a random dream? 
I don't know, but I know what it means to me.

New Year's Day 2019

So, it is now a new year and a time for new beginnings. I don't usually make resolutions because I break them before January is over. But I do have a list of things I want to do in 2019.

1-Pray more
2-read my Bible and study it more
3-paint more (I, for some reason, did not do enough of this which I love in 2018.)
4-eat healthier (with God's help)
and #5- I will thank God for something every night that happened during my day small and simple or large and awesome.

It is now 8:30 pm and I wish to end the day thanking God for nudging me to buy light bulbs when I would not of thought of it the other day. Because my bathroom light went out and I would not of had another to replace it without stealing from another room.

Also thank you, Lord, for getting me back into church and drawing closer to You after years of apathy after my mom's loss and through another year to see this one. Amen.
