I went to the movies today with all the intentions of seeing a different movie, but decided to see Unstoppable instead. I'm glad I did. I loved it! True, some critics did not, but in my opinion critics are totally clueless to what people really want to see (one said it was full of cliques. Well, life is full of cliques and people can relate to them in stories. Then they know who to root for and who to boo. One said that the movie had a sexy actress trying to be an everyday working woman. Hey, who says everyday working women can't be sexy!)
Since I love action movies I found this movie to have a great plot, believable characters, and alot of action. Not nonstop action. We need some calmn scenes to balance.
If you plan on going out for a movie date soon I highly recommend this movie. Or you can just see another Harry Potter movie like everyone else.
This blog is just where I leave my thoughts on being an artist and life itself.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon
I believe someone remade this movie to be released in 2011. Sorry, nothing is as good as the original, even if it is a bad movie.

Movie Trailer-The Blob!
This was Steve McQueen's first movie. He later said he wished he had never made it as he felt it did bad for his career.

Another Movie Trailer from the Past
My parents would take us to the drive in on Saturday nights. We would sit in the car, wrapped in blankets, listening to the tinny sounds coming from the sound box attached to the driver's window, begging for a trip to the conccesion stand. Then the big screen would light up and we would become quiet as the movie began.
This was one of the first movies we saw. It made me cry at the end. Really, it did. I was actually rooting for the monster. (I usually do.)
