Summer Dance-A Poem

Summer Night Dance
My heart beats in time
to sweet cricket song
silvery moonlight baths
my upturned face
honeysuckles scent the cool breeze
that tugs at my hair
lightening bugs are
small orbs of light surrounding me
as I dance across a field
of heather and yarrow
I hear the lonesome sound
of a train in the distant
my dreams fly me up
into the quiet voids
between the fiery stars.
