Primavera-IA Challange

Spring-to me the idea of Spring is newness, budding flowers, and color! Color every where after months of neutrals. And as everyone who knows me I love color.
This began as a free flow painting, but when I was not getting a feel for it I turned it to the side and found a budding flower. It's an 8x8 acrylic on canvas and will be going up for sale on my website and will have prints offered.
I hope you enjoy it and look for other IA entries for Primavera.

Spring to me, is bright colours after the grey of winter too. This is lovely. I love the colours you've used.

Marvelous interpretation of spring! Love the ambiguous tone, how it can be abstract or a rendition of a flower.

This is a wonderful abstract, Kelly!
I appreciate that you shared the thought process...I think this is your best work yet! And such an original look at springtime.

I see the transition from wintery weather to spring in your abstract painting. The flower is almost fruitlike!

The colors popped out at me, and even though abstract, it made me think of a blooming springtime fruit. Beautiful!

Beautiful bud. Definitely spring. Amazing how you "find" something in a painting occasionally.

I realize I'm about a week late getting here to see this abstract beauty, but computer woes as a result of a tornado hitting too close to home, kept me from visiting before this.

I love this abstract painting, and I appreciate how you shared your thoughts as you worked your way through the process from beginning to completion. So glad it worked out for you because it is a lovely piece.
